Corporate History.

A proud history of learning.

In 2012, Loft successfully implemented its first iteration of the Digital Education Platform (DEP) within Kérastase. The Loft Digital Education Platform is a Learning Management System LMS designed and developed to deliver an enterprise-grade desktop and mobile content delivery solution for education and training.

Since adopting the Digital Education Platform, L'Oréal Professional Products Division ANZ has been recognised as a global innovator and leader by L'Oréal Paris. Exceeding expectations in the delivery of world's best practices, deployment of eLearning, course authoring and digital transformation. In that same year, and due to its overwhelming success, Loft was commissioned to implement further instances of DEP across other L'Oréal brands. At that time Loft engaged leading cloud infrastructure and platform provider, IBM, as a strategic partner.

2013 and 2014 were progressive years that saw a number of important and transforming initiatives; global DEP presentations, offshore software development team, healthcare product, the introduction of investment capital and an independent Board of Directors. Our strategic partner, IBM, invited Loft to participate in the IBM Pulse Conference in Las Vegas. Loft was promoted on the main stage, media events and ‘thought leader’ panel discussions. This milestone was supported by international press articles such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BRW, PR Newswire and other mainstream publications.

2015 and 2016 was a period of consolidation, where the Loft Digital Education Platform was showcased by IBM as a leader in the adoption of cloud technologies. This led to regular public speaking engagements and national sales presentations. As Loft’s reputation continued to evolve and transform, the company was acknowledged by IBM globally with acceptance into the IBM Watson Ecosystem. Positioning the company at the forefront of education technologies was the utilisation of cognitive systems that are able to exhibit adaptive, proactive and emotive behaviour.
