L'Oréal Professionnel, Matrix, Redken, Kérastase and Shu Uemura now enjoy seamless LMS integration between the SkillsLive LMS platform and L'Oréal's accounting software, SAP. The integration has been initiated with a successful launch in 2018 following extensive R & D by Skillslive’s Development Team. The launch opens the gates from automated payment processing of several thousand education bookings, bypassing the need for hundreds of hours of manual processing and the likelihood of human error; supplanting it with nothing more than a smooth and seamless business process driven by the end user’s selections at the front end, and a balanced ledger at the back.
The implementation of a payment gateway will also soon allow users to pay for their booked education by credit card, in addition to Pay-on-account options enabled through the SAP integration.
Finding efficiencies for clients has long been a focus of SkillsLive and API projects such as this one are a key part this aim.
Naturally, a considerable portion of the SkillsLive-SAP integration project is the application of business rules to ensure consistency with PPD's payment policy and procedures. These policies and procedures include a number of intricacies and it is critical to ensure that clients are invoiced consistently and accurately with particular respect to timing. Skillslive's team implemented its experience in the field of business process mapping and software design and deployment to ensure each of these intricacies is addressed. Additionally, as L'Oréal's long time software partner, Skillslive will continue to ensure the system adapts to changes or updates to the procedure long after the initial deployment.
